- True Bayberry Candles
Truly a delight for the senses! These genuine bayberry candles are made from the wax of the berries from the bayberry shrub and have been the traditional Christmas candle since the colonial times. Burned to the nub on Christmas Eve, they bring good luck for the coming year. Naturally scented and long burning. Choose from 3 sizes- 6”, 8”, and 10”.
- Paper Wrapped Tapers
These candles are dipped by hand using an antique revolving candle stand and traditional early American methods. The candle stand hold a circle of 14 hoops called romaines. Each romaine is strung with wicking and dipped 25-30 times depending on the season of the year. A thicker coat of wax adheres to the wicking with each dip in colder weather. Choose from 4 different scents. 8” tapers.
